The Brooklyn Nets made Kevin Durant’s commerce to the Phoenix Suns official Thursday, ending their second try at a “big three.”
With Kyrie Irving heading to the Dallas Mavericks Sunday, Durant reportedly wished to be moved too, per ESPN.
Though Brooklyn was reportedly telling groups Durant wasn’t out there, proprietor Joe Tsai and GM Sean Marks ultimately noticed the Suns’ package deal of Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, 4 first-round picks (2023, 2025, 2027, 2029) and a first-round choose swap in 2028 as the correct transfer to make.

In the official commerce assertion, Marks stated the transfer was made for the long-term success of the membership.
